Real people recruitment is working on behalf of our client, a leading logistics company based in Dublin 15, we are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their growing operations team.

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Dublin 15
Salary: €32,000 - €34,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong logistics, inventory, and freight coordination experience to step into a key role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and manage logistics functions including stock management, order processing, fulfilment, scheduling, shipment planning, and job pricing

- Expedite freight consignments efficiently while tracking costs and maintaining up-to-date records on the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order flow, customer satisfaction, and optimal stock availability

- Monitor shipments across various channels, resolving delays and errors quickly

- Review shipping documentation and purchase orders for accuracy and compliance

- Engage with subcontractors, service providers, and transportation partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods

- Implement and uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards, including ISO and regulatory guidelines

- Maintain strong customer relationships by understanding client needs and ensuring service excellence

- Continuously contribute to process improvements to optimize the supply chain and logistics performance

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

- Proven experience in logistics coordination, freight forwarding, and inventory management

- Strong knowledge of the supply chain, common challenges, and effective solutions

- Proficiency in WMS and other logistics software systems

- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-moving environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset

- Familiarity with regulatory standards and ISO requirements in logistics

- A results-driven approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service
