Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description:We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in South Dublin. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all plant and production equipment, as well as ensuring smooth operation of the plant.
Main Responsibilities:- Install, modify, and maintain production equipment;
- Improve plant operations by reducing downtime, waste, and breakdowns;
- Analyse customer complaints and internal quality issues, and assist in drawing up improvement programmes;
- Participate in company-wide continuous improvement initiatives;
- Maintain accurate records and reporting systems;
- Utilise current and new IT/processing systems.
The ideal candidate will have a Third Level Qualification or National Craft Certificate in a relevant field, together with additional specialised training and experience. Relevant industrial experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments is crucial. The ability to apply a scientific approach to problem solving, blending analytical and experimental skills, is essential.
Benefits:This role offers a 4-cycle shift pattern (Days and Nights) with 4 days off between shifts. You must be willing to work 2 x 12-hour days, followed by 2 x 12-hour nights. A valid work permit, stamp 4 or an EU passport is required to apply.
