Job Overview

This is a career opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to work with cross-functional teams in the Life and Pensions domain. The primary objective of this role is to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with experience in Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall delivery models, particularly in Financial Services and Life & Pensions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product owners and leaders to drive product definition and deliver digital solutions.
  • Lead workshops and requirement gathering to produce high-quality business analysis and clear business requirement documentation.
  • Develop business requirements documents and functional specifications.
  • Engage with senior domain and design leaders to detail business improvements and processes.
  • Document user stories and contribute to backlog refinement.
  • Liaise with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and engineers to translate requirements into business solutions.
  • Support UAT by defining and executing tests to validate new processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The following qualifications are necessary for this role:

  • Strong knowledge of data management and data integration (statistical methodologies).
  • Ability to conduct data quality control, linkage, and validation.
  • User story mapping, customer journeys, personas, and voice of the customer.
  • Practical experience working with technical and business teams to translate internal and external business needs into functional and technical requirements.
