Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Assistant. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

As a Customer Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets. You will also be required to maintain accurate records, process transactions efficiently, and perform other duties as required by the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintaining store standards, including visual merchandising, stock replenishment, and housekeeping tasks.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, drive business growth, and improve customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • A customer-focused attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods, lift heavy objects (if required), and move quickly and safely around the store.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
