Job Opportunity for Design Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Design Engineer to contribute to our dynamic division in the refurbishment and construction of various projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in project coordination, design management, and quality assurance, developing expertise in regulatory compliance and certification services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Support & Management
    Assist in planning, execution, and delivery of projects ensuring timelines, standards, and quality are met.
  • Design Coordination
    Collaborate with internal and external design teams to integrate design elements across disciplines and project phases.
  • Tender Process Management
    Support preparation and coordination of tender documentation including issuing tenders, evaluating submissions, and contract award processes.
  • Construction Oversight
    Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Prepare reports and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Services
    Provide services as a Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) and Assigned Certifier upon completion of relevant training, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Level 8 Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of design and construction processes.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant design and project management software.
  • Willingness to undertake training for PSDP and Assigned Certifier roles.
