Cement Process Manager - Role Details

A leading provider of building materials solutions is seeking an experienced professional to fill a key role in cement process management.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in cement production processes, including pyro processing and grinding, and excellent understanding of clinker chemistry and mineralogy.

This position involves leading and advising cement process performance across the company's cement plant portfolio, recommending operational and industrial process improvements to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability.

Key responsibilities include analyzing plant operations, proposing process improvement recommendations, and coordinating performance tests on operating plant systems.

Additionally, the successful candidate will provide assistance to management to ensure plants operate within environmental and quality performance regulations, prepare reports on process improvement initiatives, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.

Key Requirements:

  • University degree (Bachelor/Master) in engineering (Mining, Process, Mechanical, Chemistry)
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in cement manufacturing with experience in cement plants and in central/support functions
  • Excellent understanding of cement production processes: pyro processing and grinding
  • Solid background in process design
  • Ability to challenge local operation teams and managers in terms of performance and productivity
