Job Overview

This position is a key member of the facilities team in TN Ireland, reporting to the Site Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day guidance to the facilities team members, with a strong focus on equipment support and quality requirements.

The role requires a strong background in maintenance operations, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting. A National Craft Certificate in electrical, mechanical or similar trade is essential, as well as minimum 1-3 years experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain utility and laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements and documented procedures.
  • Manage emergency breakdown repairs to minimize disruptions to site operations.
  • Support the facilities team on a day-to-day basis, identifying training needs and developing skills within the group.
  • Budget management, working within limits and improving budgetary performance.
  • Assist in regulatory and client audits as required, completing deviations and impact investigations.
  • Schedule and coordinate on-site contractor activities to maintain EH&S and Quality systems.
  • Contribute to validation projects relating to site equipment, including IQ, OQ & PQ testing.
