To excel in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the H&S system through active participation and involvement.
- Ensuring asset performance and maintenance.
- Completing all preventative and reactive tasks assigned by the Engineering Lead.
- Collaborating with operational and engineering teams to achieve site KPIs.
- Managing and executing assigned projects.
- Driving and supporting the Continuous Improvement program.
- Being a proactive member of the Ornua site engineering team.
- Participating in the Company's Employee Development and performance management program.
- Ensuring full compliance with technical and food hygiene standards to guarantee products meet all relevant quality and safety standards.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- A recognized Electrical or Mechanical Qualification.
- Previous experience working in a high-speed facility, with a good understanding of Packaging Machines desirable.
- Experience in Automation, particularly Siemens PLCs, would be advantageous.
- HMI & SCADA systems, instrumentation, process control - pumps, process control valves, instruments.
- The ability to work well individually and integrate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to work on varying shift patterns.
- Ability to work to deadlines and perform under pressure.
