3. Conduct regular cost variance analyses and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
4. Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, focusing on cost drivers and potential risks.
5. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
6. Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations related to cost accounting practices.
7. Communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
8. Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations for cost-related matters.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
2. Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
3. 3+ years experience in accounting and finance.
4. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
5. Knowledge of GAAP.
