Embedded Linux Engineer

This role focuses on the development and maintenance of low-level software for custom RISC-V-based Systems on Chips (SoCs). You will work alongside silicon, hardware, and architecture teams to drive key Linux components from concept through deployment.

You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining Linux kernel modules, device drivers, and bootloaders. Additionally, you will integrate with hypervisors, implement power management, and ensure system-level reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining Linux kernel modules, device drivers, and bootloaders
  • Integrating with hypervisors, implementing power management, and ensuring system-level reliability
  • Supporting FPGA-based platforms with custom board bring-up and SoC configuration
  • Working across the full lifecycle: from design and prototyping to customer delivery
  • Contributing to open-source codebases and aligning with upstream practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in Embedded Linux development, particularly kernel-level
  • Expertise in Linux internals, device trees, interrupt handling, and low-level debugging
  • Hands-on experience with ARM or RISC-V SoCs
  • Familiarity with FPGA platforms, bare-metal bring-up, and hardware/software integration
  • Knowledge of hypervisors, PM domains, and open-source tooling/workflows
  • Proactive, self-driven engineers who take ownership of challenging technical areas
