Reducing the carbon impact from transport and improving air-quality are key objectives for our net zero 2040 strategy.

We operate a publicly available Electric Vehicle (EV) charging network on the island of Ireland, with plans to upgrade and expand the ROI network and NI infrastructure.

Our EV charging network expansion in Britain includes rapid-charging sites deployed in London, Birmingham, and Coventry, with a project pipeline for city-wide projects and privately owned sites across the UK.

Our strategy is to continue expanding our EV charging infrastructure network.

About the Role

The Project Manager will lead the delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects across multiple client sites.

  • Manage site assessments, coordinate contractors, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and deliver projects on time.
  • Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of EV charging projects, including enabling works and feasibility assessments.
  • Monitor cost, schedule, KPIs, and ensure compliance with technical standards, regulations, safety, and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Description
  • Prepare site designs, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to support safe delivery.
  • Manage contractors and liaise with local authorities, clients, and internal teams to maintain working relationships.
  • Develop Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental documentation; conduct audits, ensure safe work practices, and drive sustainability.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports; collaborate with procurement teams.
  • Capture lessons learned and implement process improvements to enhance future project delivery.

Requirements:

Essential Skills
  • 7-10 years' experience in design and construction.
  • Level 8 Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes and frameworks.
  • Strong customer relations focus and commercial awareness.
  • Project Management & Delivery experience including contractor management.
  • Full clean driving license.
