Job Summary

Bruin is seeking a highly experienced Global VAT Operations Director to lead their European VAT operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's European entities comply with all VAT obligations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve VAT compliance across all European entities.
  • Analyze the impact of VAT on the financial performance of the business and provide recommendations.
  • Collaborate with European and US teams to provide support on the effect of VAT on other functions.
  • Identify and mitigate VAT risks.

Credentials:

  • Professional qualification in Tax or Accounting.
  • Post-qualification VAT experience gained either in accountancy practice or industry.
  • Experience of Oracle accounting system or equivalent.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and proficiency in one of the following: Power BI, Oracle Analytics, service provider tax tools.
