Sr. Lead Cybersecurity Architect

Job Description:
  • As a Sr. Lead Cybersecurity Architect, you play a vital role in shaping the future of an organization and making a direct impact in a dynamic environment designed for top achievers.
  • You will develop top-tier cybersecurity solutions for software applications and platform products, utilizing your deep technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to address a wide variety of cybersecurity challenges across multiple technology domains.
Responsibilities:
  • Embed threat modelling, security design & architecture reviews into product teams to ensure secure products from the start.
  • Proactively monitor key risk indicators to identify issues, quantify them, communicate, and manage in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Work with stakeholders and senior leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability.
  • Contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider leading-edge technologies.
  • Add to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Requirements:
  • Formal training or certification on cybersecurity concepts and advanced practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience delivering enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions and controls via Threat Modeling and Security Design & Architecture Reviews.
  • Advanced programming skills and ability to review source code to identify security flaws.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable knowledge in one or more technical disciplines.
  • Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently.
  • Practical cloud native experience.
  • Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend solutions for the future state architecture.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience communicating with senior business leaders.
  • Experience upskilling and learning modern technologies.
  • Experience working with vendors to evaluate third-party technologies and products.
