Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our client's Older Persons Rehabilitation Hospital in Limerick. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and well-supported team, providing rehabilitation programs for older adults recovering from illness, injury, or surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams, including Physiotherapists, Nurses, and Medical Staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist who possesses:

  • degree in Occupational Therapy CORU Registration (Full & Active)
  • Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience (preferably in an elderly care rehabilitation acute setting)
  • Experience working with neurological conditions, frailty, and complex rehabilitation needs
