Job Summary

Our Mechanical Engineer will assist the Senior Engineer and Project Manager in managing Health & Safety, Quality and Commissioning activities on a large construction site. The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services / Energy Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control and track project information and documentation, including Design / Scope Creep Management and Installation Drawing Red-Lining.
  • Assist the Mechanical Project team by providing detailed sketches and layout drawings for Work Packages.
  • Develop installation and commissioning plans and programmes, including site-specific RAMs and commissioning test packs.
  • Manage Vendor and Specialist Sub-Contractor project activities and Work Package Installation and Commissioning Documentation and H&S RAMs.
  • Track and record Progress Reports and assist with QA / EHS / Procurement / RFI Schedules and Matrices.

Requirements

For this role we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and BIM/ Revit. You should also be a team player with a positive attitude and a full clean driving licence and permit to work in Ireland.
