TN Ireland is seeking a dynamic Art and Design Educator to lead the delivery of our Professional Certificate in Creative Learning.

The successful candidate will have a significant track record in Art/Design research practice and higher education, as well as experience in delivering high-quality teaching within a higher education environment.

We are looking for an educator who can design, deliver and assess a range of modules in and related to specialist areas of research/professional interest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum design: preparing teaching materials, including summary outlines of briefs/lectures/seminars/workshops, reading lists, proposals of guest speakers, and expected deliverables/assignments.
  • Authorship of publicity: writing texts and sourcing visual material which can be used to promote the Professional Diploma using TN Ireland's communication channels.
  • Development: 20 hours of research and curriculum content that needs to be completed and delivered following an agreed schedule.
  • Teaching: 25 contact hours.
  • Assessment and administration: 5 hours.

Course Format:

The 5-credit course content will be delivered to 12-25 learners in various formats including fully onsite learning, remote participation, and hybrid formats.

Active learning and collaborative peer learning are strongly encouraged to reflect the professional experience and ambitions of learners.

Each module may include one or two high-profile guest speakers, but the majority of the content is expected to be taught and coordinated by a lead tutor or team of tutors.
