Procurement Professional - Engineering Field Services

This role is responsible for driving and delivering the procurement plan and activities in the EFS category, including overall Category Management, Strategic Sourcing & Stakeholder Management.

The successful candidate will develop and implement Sourcing strategies, tender execution and contracting under Procurement framework, policies and procedures.

This role requires strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure procurement competency and continuous value delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of category plans and sourcing activities
  • Build and maintain category expertise, applying best practices around sourcing approach, supplier selection, total cost of ownership and negotiation tactics
  • Identification of cost savings opportunities by leveraging commercial models, contractual terms and operational improvements to minimise the Total Cost of Ownership
  • Collaboration with business unit teams to execute and deliver category plan and sourcing activities against key metrics
  • Adherence to procurement processes and activities with other procurement teams
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the business objectives and key transformational programmes
  • Delivery of cost savings through defining sourcing strategies, pricing and contract negotiations with suppliers, award recommendations to the business
  • Management of relationships with key suppliers, negotiation of commercial and contractual arrangements
