Expert Underwriter Wanted

We are seeking an expert underwriter to join our team and work on a diverse range of Financial Lines products, including Professional Indemnity, Cyber, Life Science, D&O, and others.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience within Financial Lines and be able to collaborate with the Financial Lines manager to develop and enhance products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite a variety of Financial Lines products, including PI, D&O, Cyber & Life Science.
  • Work closely with the Financial Lines manager to create new products and improve existing ones.
  • Participate in binder renewals and audits conducted by Capital Providers.
  • Achieve sales targets while maintaining high standards of underwriting.
  • Efficiently manage policy renewals, including proposal forms and renewal terms.
  • Maintain strong relationships with brokers to retain clients.
  • Process mid-term amendments quickly.
  • Gain a deep understanding of all Financial Lines products.
  • Build relationships with brokers through effective communication.
  • Continuously improve team efficiency and quality.
Skill Requirements:
  • Results-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Experienced underwriter with a proven track record in Financial Lines.
  • CIP qualified.
  • Experience in managing broker and client relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Task prioritisation and time management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Commitment to excellence in underwriting.
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions.
