About This Role

As a seasoned expert in Identity and Access Management (IAM), we are seeking an accomplished IAM Architect to join our IT team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure IAM solutions that support the company's global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide architectural guidance on enterprise-level security initiatives, system integration, and tools within the IAM domain.
  • Lead technical efforts for enterprise-class IAM security initiatives.
  • Develop security design patterns and architectural models that ensure repeatable, consistent architecture for IAM capabilities and related technologies.
  • Establish information security best practices and architectural models to ensure compliance with enterprise-wide security policies and standards in the IAM space.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions that enhance the company's security posture.
  • Responsible for resolving complex issues through root cause analysis and developing strategic solutions.
  • Communicate security concepts effectively to stakeholders and facilitate alignment on security priorities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 6 years of experience in the IAM domain with a proven track record in architect roles.
  • Expert knowledge of security concepts for identity and access management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing and implementing secure Active Directory and Entra ID solutions.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory authentication features (Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP).
  • Experience with Active Directory security best practices (e.g., Privileged Access Management, credential theft mitigations, tiering model design).
  • Knowledge of common attack vectors and methods such as pass the hash, pass the ticket, ransomware, kerberoasting.
  • Understanding of Active Directory capabilities (FSMO roles, schema management, trusts, replication, and Group Policy).
  • Working knowledge of IAM services of public cloud providers.
  • Modern IAM solution expertise (e.g., MFA, Authentication strengths, conditional access policies, PIM, External Identity, Entra ID Application Proxy, SSO, Application integrations).
  • Understanding of identity providers using SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect.
  • Experience in IAM engineering, building, and maintaining security controls.
  • Industry good practice implementation experience (e.g., NIST, ISO2700x, SANS) preferred.
  • Experience in threat modeling (STRIDE), preferred.
  • Certifications in related discipline (e.g., CEH, CISM, CISSP), preferred.
