Job Requirements
You'll be responsible for delivering family-centred therapy, conducting occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children and adolescents through personalised and group sessions, primarily in clinic settings, with occasional community-based work.
Provide teletherapy services to children and families when necessary.Collaborate effectively within the Occupational Therapy and Multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery.
Support and advise colleagues within the clinical team to ensure best practices.
Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and service planning activities.
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation through computerised clinical records.
Assist in organising parent and teacher training sessions and provide professional guidance.
Ensure therapy rooms and equipment are well-maintained and safe.
Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) activities and contribute to training opportunities.
Support promotional activities to enhance service awareness.
Report directly to the Therapy Team Lead and Clinical Services Manager.
Professional Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent), validated for practice in Ireland.
- Ideal experience: 1+ years of post-qualification experience in paediatric occupational therapy, including working with children with neurodiverse conditions, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing disorders, and Down syndrome.
- Accredited membership with AOTI and CORU Registration are essential.
- Garda Vetting clearance and satisfactory references required.
