Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to contribute to the design and development of innovative automation solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed electrical designs and drawings using Eplan software, as well as collaborating with engineering teams to devise cost-efficient electrical solutions for cutting-edge automation systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed electrical designs and drawings using Eplan software.
  • Craft Electrical and Pneumatic Schematics that adhere to international standards, ensuring a seamless and compliant design.
  • Partner with engineering teams to devise cost-efficient electrical solutions for cutting-edge automation systems.
  • Evaluate electrical components to optimize system performance and cost-effectiveness, maximizing value for our customers.
  • Produce comprehensive documentation, including Bills of Materials, Hardware Design Specifications, and Machine Manuals, for easy reference and efficient operation.
  • Contribute to the Machinery CE Certification Process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and directives.
  • Provide technical support to electrical teams during the machine build, commissioning, and installation phases.
  • Pursue Continuous Improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and enhance our competitive edge.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2+ years in an Electrical Engineer role.
  • L8 Degree in Electronic/electrical engineering or similar.

Key Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Eplan software.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities to effectively diagnose and rectify electrical malfunctions.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical is an advantage.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in developing project timelines that balance budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
