Therapy Practitioner

• You will conduct detailed assessments and offer individualised counselling sessions to clients, ensuring their needs are met and goals are achieved.
• Properly manage and escalate clinical governance concerns, including risk and child protection matters, to the designated Coordinator.
• Your role involves effective communication with colleagues, professionals, and clients to guarantee seamless service delivery and facilitate necessary referrals.
• Accurate client records, databases, and statistics must be maintained according to HSE regulations and local guidelines.

• Candidates must demonstrate expertise in conducting suitability assessments for counselling/therapy and delivering one-on-one therapy for diverse client presentations.
• A proven track record of providing therapy in both short- and long-term contracts is essential.
• Strong knowledge and management skills regarding risk issues and current child protection protocols are necessary.
• Proficiency in leveraging technology for supporting counselling work, including data recording, is required.
• Hold a minimum qualification of Level 7 on the QQI framework in a human science discipline or a health-related field.
• A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are advantageous.
• Ireland residency and unrestricted employment eligibility are prerequisites.
• Garda Vetting is obligatory for all applicants, with potential need for International Police Clearance for those having resided outside Ireland over six months post-age 16.
