Financial Management Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Management Specialist to join our team. This is a key role that involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including invoicing, accounts payable, and VAT returns.

The successful candidate will lead the preparation of internal management accounts and month-end close activities. They will also drive the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team to provide timely and accurate financial reporting and insights.

To be successful in this role, you will have strong management accounting skills and proficiency in accounting software. Advanced Excel skills and experience with system implementation would be an advantage.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including invoicing and accounts payable.
  • Lead the preparation of internal management accounts and month-end close activities.
  • Drive the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide timely and accurate financial reporting and insights.
  • Requirements:
  • Part-qualified or qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with 3+ years' relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong management accounting skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills; experience with system implementation is an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
