Job Description

The Warehouse Operations Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of traffic within the warehouse, guaranteeing an organized workspace with operable equipment. This position involves coordinating the movement of boats, vehicles, and equipment to prevent congestion and maintain a safe working environment.

This specialist is responsible for assisting in check-in procedures for new boats delivered to the dealership, maintaining a clean and professional showroom and yard, operating hydraulic jacks or hoists as needed to move equipment and vehicles safely, and performing general maintenance tasks, including small repairs, lawn maintenance, and dock upkeep.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess excellent communication abilities.

This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with receiving and processing new inventory, including boats and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, including quantities and locations.
  • Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and equipment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, applicants must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with basic tools and equipment.
