Job Description:
As a Social Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and support to service users based on their individual needs and preferences. This includes assisting with basic skills such as feeding, washing, and dressing, as well as encouraging and supporting service users to engage in their preferred activities. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and family members to ensure the highest level of care is provided. Demonstrating empathy and compassion towards others is essential in this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this position, you will need a minimum of a Level 7 or 8 degree in Social Care and at least 3 months of social care experience. A full driving license and access to your own car are desirable. You must also be resident in Ireland and have the legal right to work in Ireland without restriction. All candidates will undergo Garda Vetting, and those who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months over the age of 16 may be required to produce International Police Clearance.
