Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to perform data entry using accounting software, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.

Prepare and review VAT Returns for a portfolio of clients, while carrying out bank, debtors, and creditors reconciliations.

Ensure adequate processes are in place, assist in preparing accounts up to trial balance stage, and communicate directly with clients to meet deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • A qualified Accounting Technician or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in an accounting practice.
  • Proficiency in accounting IT systems such as DEXT, Xero, QuickBooks Online.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • A valid driving license.
