Job Role

The successful candidate will conduct thorough property inspections, prepare detailed reports, and provide expert advice on structural integrity and potential risks.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Inspect and Report: Conduct in-depth inspections of residential and commercial properties, identifying defects and recommending repairs.
  2. Survey and Analysis: Conduct property surveys, including detailed inspections of residential and commercial properties, and analyze data to identify defects and recommend repairs.
  3. Client Communication: Provide professional advice to clients regarding survey findings and associated risks.
  4. Staying Current: Stay updated on relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
  1. Education and Registration: A minimum degree in Building Surveying (NFQ Level 8) or a related qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering, with proven experience as a Building Surveyor and registration as a Building Surveyor.
  2. Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction standards, and energy efficiency assessments (BER).
  3. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in report preparation and BER rating software.
  4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
