Production Manager Ireland

Job Summary:
Lead a team of production specialists to oversee daily operations, ensuring high-quality products and efficient workflows.
- Supervise the management of production schedules, packing, and cleaning processes to meet output targets.
- Direct the food processing line, including grading, sorting, and machine operation tasks.
- Verify that all products are correctly packed, labelled, and processed in compliance with industry standards.
- Develop shift schedules and team rotations to align with production needs.
- Address day-to-day production challenges and provide support for training and upskilling initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records through production IT systems and ensure traceability.
- Promote adherence to food safety, quality, and health & safety standards.
- Drive sustainability, efficiency, and waste reduction improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a food manufacturing facility in Ireland.
- Strong understanding of food safety systems (e.g., HACCP).
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfortable with production planning, basic reporting, and using factory IT systems.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
