Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Social Care Assistant to join our residential care team in Kildare. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet individual requirements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. FETAC level 5 in Healthcare or similar qualification
  2. Minimum 1 year's experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities
  3. HIQA regulations and National Standards policies expertise
  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  6. A valid driver's license and access to own vehicle (essential)
