
Sr. DevSecOps Security Specialist

Job Role:
Sr. DevSecOps EngineerWe are seeking a seasoned DevSecOps professional to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the security landscape of our organization.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in planning, coordinating, and executing security initiatives across the enterprise. They should be able to build and maintain infrastructure-focused security solutions, operate at scale, and continuously improve processes.
This role requires strong technical skills, effective communication and project management abilities, as well as the capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Security Testing and Analysis: Perform regular security testing and analysis to identify vulnerabilities in the software development process.
- Secure Infrastructure: Ensure that the infrastructure used by the development team is secure and compliant with industry standards.
- Security Compliance: Verify that the development process adheres to established security compliance standards.
- Security Automation: Automate security processes to ensure that security is integrated into the development process from the beginning.
- Security Education and Training: Provide education and training to the development team on security best practices and protocols.
- Incident Response: Respond to security incidents by investigating and remediating the issue.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure DevOps, OpenStack, and GCP.
- Experience with provisioning and automation using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, and OpenStack.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Tools like AzureDevOps, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab, Travis CI.
- Experience with Security tools and concepts used in all processes from SDLC to pipeline deployment.
- Familiarity with Source Code Management (SCM) tools like AzureDevOps, Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker, PodMan, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
