Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Water Environment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in developing sustainable water and environmental solutions.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Water Environment Specialist to contribute to various projects across the UK and internationally. You will be responsible for creating computer models to investigate flooding and environmental issues, focusing on sustainability and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop hydraulic sewer models and analyze data to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Use GIS software to understand complex environmental problems and develop 1D and 2D flood risk models.
  • Create reports and project deliverables, communicating findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to address infrastructural and environmental challenges.
  • Support junior team members and proactively solve environmental problems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in wastewater modelling using InfoWorks ICM.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GIS software.
