Job Title: Fabricator

The key role of this position involves working as a crucial member of the production team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of welding works required.

Main Duties:

  • Weld joints precisely and seamlessly through MIG welding
  • Perform welding tasks that meet symbol requirements
  • Undertake welding tests when necessary, as directed by production management
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards applicable to the role of Welder
  • Maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance and a clean workstation
  • Conduct ongoing quality control checks on own work
  • Participate in training to fulfill the role's requirements
  • Evaluate performance regularly to ensure it aligns with company and client expectations
  • Comply with relevant industry standards, such as ISO9001:2015 and EN1090

Minimum Requirements:

  • Three years' experience in MIG welding
  • Ability to read and interpret welding symbols
  • Successful completion of MIG welding assessments
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and be flexible when moving between projects
  • Familiarity with basic IT systems

This role requires a minimum of 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday across two shifts. Reasonable overtime may be expected at morning, evening, or weekend times to ensure the role's fulfillment.
