About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Solutions Specialist to join our team in Carlow. As a key member of our IT services centre, you will work closely with customers and business partners to implement and maintain electronic data interchange technology enabled services.

As a specialist in this role, you will require an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Unum's technology, product portfolio, and the impact on our pre-sale, onboarding, and continued administration management processes.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing expert advice and technical support on all aspects of Unum's technology capabilities, overseeing the setup and maintenance of technology onboarding with our clients and technology partners, and ensuring set up of technology solutions to support ongoing administration and eligibility.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting data options, educating clients on services, submitting appropriate file set up requests, working with internal and external partners to accomplish testing needs, and communicating with stakeholders during the process until files are successfully in production.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have a BS degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience in the customer service, insurance, or IT industry. You will also possess strong verbal and written communication skills, leadership qualities that drive change to achieve business results, and experience working directly with customers and/or carriers developing technology solutions for HRIS/payroll/Ben Admin systems.
