Finance Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join our team at Force. This pivotal role involves shaping the financial strategy and overseeing financial operations within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Monitor financial performance, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Continuously assess, streamline, and automate accounting processes to reduce manual work and improve data insights.

Budgeting, Scenario Planning & Forecasting: The ideal candidate will lead budgeting, scenario planning, and forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to support business planning and financial decision-making.

Supply Chain Financial Management: As a Finance Director, you will provide financial insights to optimize the end-to-end supply chain, analyzing the financial impact of supply chain inefficiencies.

Regulatory Compliance & Auditing: You will ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, facilitating and managing external audit processes.

Costing & Margin Analysis: Evaluate costs and product pricing regularly to maintain competitive margins.

Financial Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks related to pricing, supply chain disruptions, and currency fluctuations, implementing hedging strategies as needed.

Promotion & Sales Performance Monitoring: Analyze the profitability and ROI of marketing promotions, supporting sales and marketing teams in developing promotional budgets and forecasts.

New Product Development (NPD) Financial Analysis: Provide financial guidance throughout the NPD process and conduct post-launch financial reviews.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and strategic guidance, engaging with external investors, stakeholders, and suppliers.

Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Financial Strategies: Develop financial strategies for DTC initiatives, considering logistics, pricing, and customer acquisition costs, assessing the financial implications of digital sales channels and DTC strategies.

Qualifications & Experience: A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is required, along with minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and financial management, proven experience as a Finance Manager, and strong proficiency in financial software and automation tools.

Education & Professional Development: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is essential, continued professional development through relevant courses, workshops, or seminars is also important.
