About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Neurology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team as a liaison nurse, working closely with the Consultant Neonatologist to develop and implement effective care strategies for babies with neurological conditions.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that requires a skilled professional with a strong background in Neonatal nursing and a recognized certificate in neonatal intensive care nursing.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Neonatal Unit and Disability Services to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
- Provide education and training to staff on neonatal care best practices.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Midwife or Nurse with 5 years post-registration experience, including 2 years in Neonatal nursing.
- Postgraduate qualification at Master's level (QQI Level 9) or commitment to complete within 2 years.
- Demonstrable experience in managing a team and workload.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
