Chief Motor Technician

As a motor technician, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop. Your primary responsibility is to complete work orders efficiently and effectively, documenting all repairs, parts required, and labor to be charged.

• Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles using measuring devices to provide accurate reports to the workshop controller
• Interpret technical data and instructions from manufacturers to ensure quality workmanship
• Carry out routine service work on vehicles, adhering to established procedures
• Remove and install vehicle components in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Conduct thorough vehicle health checks, identifying potential issues
• Execute technical repair work following established procedures

To guarantee accurate diagnosis and effective repair, report any faults encountered and notify the workshop controller of additional defects or delays.

• A fully qualified motor technician with fluency in English
• At least one year of experience in a fast-paced workshop environment
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills covering a wide range of vehicles
• A valid Irish or EU driving license
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
• A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
