Business Development Role - Benelux & Nordics

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development professional to join our Benelux and Nordics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth, identifying new business opportunities, and developing relationships with key stakeholders.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual who enjoys building strong connections and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with our Platform Management team to achieve sales targets and expand our presence in the region.

Your focus will be on:

  • Identifying and pursuing high-potential leads to drive revenue growth.
  • Developing and executing strategic plans to increase market share and expand our customer base.
  • Maintaining accurate forecasts and pipeline activities in CRM systems.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to ensure seamless relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proven track record of sales success, and a deep understanding of the software industry. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification is required, as well as fluency in English and proficiency in Dutch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage high-velocity inbound opportunities from channel partners and current accounts.
  • Finding, developing, and closing sales opportunities alongside the Inside Sales team.
  • Co-own sales achievement goals against a specified territory and team quota.
  • Proactively prospect customers to identify net new business opportunities and develop relationships via cold calling and own pipeline activities.
  • Own and manage the sales cycle for assigned accounts, leveraging a value-based selling approach.
  • Maintain accurate forecast and activities in CRM (Salesforce).
  • Identify customer/partner needs/requirements, and recommend the appropriate products and solutions.
  • Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitors' products and pricing and keep up to date on knowledge of the company.
  • Remains up to date on new products and services offerings.
  • Engage directly with end users/partners via telephone calls, email, while leveraging field sales for onsite engagement where needed.
  • Be highly responsive to partners and customers, providing them with the information they need throughout the sales process.
  • Work with customers to complete Health Checks and Quarterly Business Reviews and increase customer engagement with our Strategic Customers.
  • Works with channel partners to identify and qualify sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities to generate pipeline in collaboration with the Field Channel Manager.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience within a channel/inside sales/renewals role (technology, software, B2B, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Create and nurture strong collaborative relationships with customers, partners and sales team members.
  • Polished professionalism with above average organizational, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent third level qualification
  • Strong presentation and critical thinking skills
  • Fluent English and Dutch a bonus.
