
IoT Product Lead

Drive the productization of IoT devices as a key member of our team.
About the Role- Elevate the transition from design to production for IoT products, ensuring seamless execution.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers, engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams to deliver goods that meet customer needs and specifications.
- Manage user requirements and product cost estimates, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Liaise with stakeholders to drive product definition and optimizations, maximizing value and efficiency.
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting in relation to overall product, streamlining processes and resolving issues.
- Contribute to Engineering team with feasibility study, prototype testing, and system-level requirement management.
- Assist with product certification process, ensuring compliance and regulatory adherence.
- Manage and coordinate system level requirements, facilitating smooth transfer of engineering designs to manufacturing.
- Coordinate System BOM updates and versioning from design phase to production release, promoting transparency and accuracy.
- Collaborate on end-of-line product validation and the design of assembly and test fixture requirements, ensuring quality and reliability.
- Liaise between Engineering and Manufacturing teams, fostering open communication and mutual understanding.
- Support engineering team for EVT/DVT/PVT System BOMs & Initial Pilot Builds, driving project success and timely delivery.
- Assist with manufacturing issues and improvements related to system level specifications, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Take ownership of IOT products delivery and handover to manufacturing teams, guaranteeing excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Develop comprehensive box-build process flows, assembly guides, and test procedures, standardizing best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Assist with the development of Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes, ensuring effective issue resolution and customer support.
- Support Product Lifecycle Management process implementation with engineering team, promoting ongoing improvement and optimization.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, experience in product applications, electronics or manufacturing engineering, ideally in the IoT or electronics sector. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to ensure smooth integration between electrical, mechanical, and software development are required. Experience operating in a regulated environment and knowledge of industry compliance standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IPC, RoHS, REACH, CE, FCC, or similar are advantageous. Willingness to travel to our EMS sites when required.

- Experience with agile methodologies and lean principles.
- Strong understanding of product development life cycles.
