Job Summary

A leading main contractor is seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to support their team on a new project in Ireland.

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, facilitating informed decision-making and smooth project progression.
  • Oversee plans, drawings, and supervise subcontractors across the project, guaranteeing high-quality workmanship and adherence to regulations.
  • Coordinate site staff and subcontractors, promoting a collaborative and safe working environment.
  • Evaluate and improve processes, ensuring timely completion and exceeding client expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement effective construction programmes.
  • Monitor and enforce quality control and safety standards, protecting both employees and clients.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Prior experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor or similar background.
  • Substantial building experience and knowledge of current construction practices.
  • Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with relevant building regulations, certification standards, and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility among team members.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality management principles.
