We are seeking an experienced Clinical Cancer Pharmacy Specialist to join our team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated pharmacist to work in both clinical cancer services and our pharmacy aseptic unit.
As a Clinical Cancer Pharmacy Specialist, you will be responsible for providing and developing the clinical pharmacy service to cancer wards, Sue Ryder Hospice, and outpatient clinic areas. You will also participate in the weekend pharmacy service rota and on-call.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing and developing the clinical pharmacy service to cancer wards, Sue Ryder Hospice, and outpatient clinic areas.
- Participating in the weekend pharmacy service rota and on-call.
- Undertaking teaching and clinical supervision of pharmacists, foundation pharmacists, Medicines Optimisation Technicians, and undergraduate pharmacy students.
- Undertaking audits and service improvement projects within clinical pharmacy.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in both clinical cancer services and aseptic services, working closely with our multi-disciplinary teams to provide the best possible care for our patients.
