Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality psychological services to children and young people across the lifespan.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a friendly and collaborative team in Mayo and Roscommon. You will be responsible for delivering individual and group-based interventions, as well as providing consultation and support to parents, carers, and other professionals involved in the child's care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychology and/or Chartered Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist through PSI.
  • Candidates qualified overseas must provide evidence of validation by the Department of Health at the time of application.
  • Eligibility for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of a range of Psychological assessment and therapeutic models.
  • Experience delivering psychological interventions to children and families.
  • Excellent clinical assessment, formulation, and therapeutic planning skills.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload.
