Job Title: Retail Merchandiser Specialist

As a key player in our retail merchandising team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results by maximizing visibility of FMCG products in store. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our brand's presence is consistently strong and appealing across all stores.

To achieve this goal, you will need to have the ability to think creatively and strategically when it comes to product placement and visual merchandising. You must also possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, field supervisors, store managers, and sales representatives.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Full clean driving license with car as an essential requirement
  • Familiarity with technology
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Some experience in merchandising or retail industry would be beneficial but not necessary

We are looking for a hardworking, polite, and professional individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity while working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Merchandise FMCG products for maximum visibility in store
  2. Optimize stock rotation and replenishment on display units and sections
  3. Conduct daily store visits to assess product display and identify areas for improvement
  4. Collaborate with field supervisors, store managers, and sales representatives to resolve any issues or concerns
  5. Prepare accurate and prompt reports on all store visits
  6. Maintain and grow planogram space where possible
  7. Ensure correct SEL is placed in front of products
  8. Merchandise promotional ends and ensure correct pricing is in place
  9. Capture before and after photographs of product displays
  10. Build strong relationships with store management and colleagues to foster a positive work environment
