About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Product Development Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing new designs through the product lifecycle from concept into volume manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage new designs through product lifecycle from concept into volume manufacturing
  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts in the business to ensure all new products fit within existing manufacturing capability
  • Opportunity to become Subject Matter Expert in specialized processes
  • Design and introduce manufacturing processes for new products to meet productivity and quality demands
  • Maintain high quality / compliance standards in line with Medical Devices manufacturing requirements

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree, or equivalent qualification, preferably with at least 2 years experience
  • Strong technical background and capabilities
  • New product introduction experience is desirable
  • Motivated to work on own initiative and ability to make and implement decisions
