Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our Continental Europe team. As Finance Director, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement.

The Opportunity

This high-profile position offers the chance to make a significant impact on our company's financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the CE business leader to develop and execute the 3-year strategic plan that drives continuous revenue growth and margin improvement.
  • Lead the delivery of the financial performance of the business in line with the annual budget working closely with the Europe leadership team.
  • Be a key influencer and decision-maker on both the GPN CE leadership team and the global GPN Finance team.

As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Direct and own the annual financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Lead the Finance team and ensure accurate and timely reporting of the financial performance of the business; explain actual business results to the executive team through clear and concise written and verbal presentations on a monthly basis.
  • Identify and drive initiatives that improve the overall profitability of the business.
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to support the various regional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Product Supply.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree-educated background or equivalent, as well as being a qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • A proven track record of Financial Leadership and delivery of financial performance at a regional level.
  • Experience leading finance teams and owning P&L delivery in the CPG/FMCG sector.
