Responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of planning, design, and execution of energy sector projects.
  • Ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Provide technical leadership across renewable energy systems and power generation initiatives.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and compliance.
  • Stay current with evolving technologies, trends, and regulations in the energy domain.
  • Champion the integration of cutting-edge solutions such as smart grids and energy storage.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and ongoing professional development.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for executive and partner audiences.
  • Build and sustain relationships with regulatory bodies, utility firms, and industry groups.
  • Manage engineering budgets, forecasts, and resource planning to ensure efficient delivery.

Ideal candidates possess:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline (Masters degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineering license or equivalent certification highly desirable.
  • A proven track record in managing complex, large-scale energy projects.
  • Expertise in renewable energy technologies, power generation, and energy storage.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of energy systems, EMS, SCADA, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with grid integration, energy market dynamics, and smart energy solutions.
