Job Overview

This team provides project management and technical excellence in design, appraisal, and construction of residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and educational buildings for public and private clients in Ireland and overseas.

The successful candidates will be joining a recognized leader in the delivery of consultancy services in Ireland and the UK.

  • Designing buildings' structures
  • Engaging with clients, design teams, and local authorities for project delivery
  • Managing design output to meet specified quality, timelines, and costs
  • Assisting in procurement of new work in the Residential / Commercial / Industrial sector
  • Construction monitoring and reporting
  • Complying fully with quality systems
Key Requirements

A minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in structural design is required. Chartered or near chartered status is also necessary. The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical and numerical skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • A Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Level 8) as a minimum; a Masters qualification is advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience in using Eurocodes
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Technical proficiency and experience of structural analysis and modeling packages including Robot, Tekla, Tedds, MasterSeries etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills with the ability to manage other design personnel
