Job Opportunity

  • We are seeking a Senior Associate to deliver high-quality audit and advisory services with minimal supervision.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to and assist in the delivery of Audit department goals, including effective planning and execution of assignments.
  • They will lead multiple audit assignments concurrently, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff members to ensure quality, thoroughness, and completion of assignments within agreed timeframes is a key responsibility.
  • The Senior Associate will report on audit findings, raising any issues arising during the audit that may impact risk to the Audit Manager/Partner.
  • Dealing with escalated client issues from junior members of the audit team in a timely manner is essential.
  • Executing client assignments utilizing a range of audit and accounting applications is also required.
  • Liaising with other departments, including taxation, company secretarial, and consultancy, in the delivery of audit and advisory services is a crucial aspect of this role.
  • Identifying potential opportunities to provide additional value-added services to clients is an important part of this position.

Requirements

  • A qualified ACA/ACCA accountant is essential.
  • Prior practice experience within an Audit team is necessary.
  • Previous financial services audit experience is desirable.
  • Experience of CaseWare is an advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge is required.
  • Experience in supervising junior staff members on audit assignments is essential.
  • Client-focused with strong commercial expertise is necessary.
  • Excellent technical and interpersonal skills are required.
  • A team player with strong communication and leadership potential is ideal.
