Job Title: Quality and Compliance Coordinator

My client is currently recruiting a Quality/Audit Coordinator/Team Lead with responsibility for overseeing the adherence to operational procedures. The person will be based mainly in Athlone, however, there is flexibility to travel as required.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Examine records, reports, operating practices, and documentation to ensure compliance with established internal control procedures
  • Verify findings by comparing results to documentation
  • Document audit results, findings, and recommendations
  • Communicate audit findings by preparing a final report and discussing findings with auditees
  • Enforce adherence to legal, licensing, and ISO requirements, advising management as needed
  • Prepare special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating information and trends
  • Contribute to leading the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Maintain control of the full audit cycle, including reliability, compliance with applicable regulations & directives, and risk management
  • Attend meetings with auditees to understand their business operations
  • Travel to various depots and meet relevant company staff to obtain necessary information
  • Provide advice to staff and management through training sessions and courses or other means
  • Research and assess overall performance and risk management processes using software to record the results

  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to deliver feedback
  • Project management skills desirable
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Experience with audit software beneficial
  • Strong work ethic and exemplary integrity essential
  • Capacity to adapt to change and commitment to continuous process improvement
  • Proven strong communication skills with stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Understanding of BI and data analytics advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Must have a full clean driver's license; own car essential

This position requires an individual who can maintain control over multiple projects while meeting stringent deadlines. Strong communication skills are a must-have in this role.

Knowledge of quality assurance principles and auditing methods is highly desirable. Experience working with audit software would be beneficial.

Applicants should have excellent time management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities. Strong analytical skills are also required for this role.
