We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Fire Alarm Systems Installation and Maintenance Specialist.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing and maintaining fire detection, alarm and suppression systems, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers.
- Commission fire detection, alarm and suppression systems to agreed customer specifications ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Service and maintain fire detection, fire suppression systems, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers in accordance with agreed service and maintenance contracts as per IS 3218 2013 + A1 2019,IS3217:2013 and IS291:2015.
- Provide expert advice to customers on their specific needs during on-site inspections, supporting the sales team in specifying customer requirements.
- Respond promptly and courteously to customer queries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Respond to emergency activations and other attendances advised through service desk and pageboy services.
- Prepare regular reports on activities to enable management plan strategic and operational direction for the fire systems team.
- Closure of jobs with accurate information required to enable prompt invoicing to customers and job certification.
- Act as deputy for manager in any matters as directed by Manager.
- Achieve comprehensive knowledge of, and stay up-to-date with all standards relevant to the Fire industry.
- Experience in conventional and analogue fire alarm systems.
- Experience in fire suppression systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning and organising skills.
- Ability to solve problems effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Results focus and ability to meet deadlines.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Full clean driving licence essential.
- Electrical background a distinct advantage.
Salary €50k - €70k depending on experience
Full time permanent role
