**Job Title:** Technical Crew

This is a dual role position where you will work as a technical crew member and winch paramedic. Your primary responsibilities include ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of flights in support of lifesaving operations across Ireland.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in the preparation, movement, and maintenance of aircraft ready for duty.
  • Conduct navigation, observer, hoist operator, and winch paramedic duties as required.
  • Operate all relevant aircraft systems to assist in the conduct of tasks, including rescue hoists, hover trim systems, communications systems, mission systems, and sensor equipment.

**Qualifications:**

  • SAR Winch Paramedic
  • Dual Role SAR Technical Crew
  • Current EASA Class 2 Medical
  • Current PHECC registration to minimum level of Paramedic

**Experience:**

  • 3 months previous experience as a paramedic
  • Able to evidence experience gained in an operational environment similar to the intended operation
  • 3 years previous experience on a dedicated SAR unit as helicopter technical crew
  • 100 hours operating experience in helicopters gained in an operational environment similar to the intended operation

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess high-level motivation and attention to detail, dynamic risk assessment skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and clear and precise verbal and written communication skills. All applicants must be currently eligible to work and live in Ireland or be able to gain an Irish permit/visa.
